“Index of Riparian Quality plus” QBR+

A widespread index of Riparian and river channel quality developed by University of Barcelona researchers and now applied worldwide. In work done on Samothraki a semi-quantitative assessment of  riparian plant community is also applied giving a description of the tree and shrub community at each site. The use of the riparian plant community is added to the protocol here and this is why it is called QBR+. This work is addition of floral data is done in this context for the first time.
